The Irish immigrant Alexander Milsop, and his brother Thomas, arrived in Australia in the mid 1800’s. They sought their fortunes in the Kurrajong gold fields near Forbes and were somewhat successful. They returned to Sydney and purchased land on Wollongong Road.
